There shouldn’t be « pinned » notes, if I want to open 4 tabs with the same note, hey, why not ? All tab should be working independly, like not note is pinned and switch to another note if I click on another note. It took me some time to understand the way Firefox or Chromium manages tabs. I understood Joplin doesn’t allow « correct » defaults in its API, but I hope it’s something planned. In fact, the first time I tried the plug-in, I uninstalled it just after. And as I’m not yet an advanced Joplin user, I wouldn’t have thought about View / Change Application Layout. Now, I really thought the plug-in didn’t work when I first tried it : tabs on left ? There must be a bug, can’t be an acceptable default ! Another buggy and unmaintained plug-in I thought. To the point that either the open in new window feature or tabs should be part of default Joplin in my opinion. Having tabs instead would also allow to do that.
